Louisiana farmers embrace technology to survive

If Louisiana farmers and those around the country are going to continue producing crops to feed the growing state and national populations and continue exporting to the rest of the world, they have to keep up with technological changes and be smart about how they manage their land, says Commissioner of Agriculture Mike Strain.

Addressing the Press Club of Baton Rouge Monday, Strain said "The greatest challenge of our time will be whether or not we're going to be able to feed $20 billion people who are going to be here by 2050."
