Mothballed livestock research station sells for $3.5m
It is the end of an era for livestock research in north-west Queensland, with the mothballed Toorak Research Station selling at auction.
The station had been providing research for northern sheep and cattle producers for about 60 years but it has been sold off by the Queensland Government.
