Mozambique loses 9,000 cattle due to lack of pastures

More than 9,000 cattle died in the Matebeleland south province last year due to lack of pastures in southern parts of the country, an official said Thursday.

Mangwe district has the highest number of deaths with 5,476 followed by 1,232 in Matobo and 1,015 in Beitbridge, Zimbabwe news agency New Ziana reported.
