Mozambique seeks India's help to develop tea industry
Mozambique is keen to rope in India’s expertise to develop its tea industry. A delegation from the African country, led by its Agriculture Minister, met representatives of the industry as well as the Tea Board of India and sought co-operation “to help Mozambique tea reach its full potential”. An Indian delegation would visit the country soon to explore opportunities.
Mozambique Agriculture Minister Jose Pachecho, who was here on Monday, said that the tea industry in his country was facing the challenges on productivity, quality and demand fronts.
