NSW cattle deaths still a mystery

Landholders affected by a deadly cattle illness in the western and Riverina regions of NSW have been told their properties won't be quarantined.

The state's animal health agencies haven't confirmed what's been killing hundreds of cattle in the region since October.

Graham Bailey, cattle health co-ordinator with the NSW Department of Primary Industries, says the inquiry has been narrowed down.
