Saudi activists call for boycott of poultry
Saudi cyber activists, disgruntled at rising prices of chicken, have taken to social media networks to call for a boycott of the food staple, but retailers say sales are barely affected.
"Let it Rot" and "Poultry Boycott" are two titles of the campaigns that have begun in the past week on the Twitter microblogging website, urging Saudis to abandon chicken after prices hiked.
