Testing for bovine Johnes disease begins in WA
The Department of Agriculture and Food has started testing cattle at three Kimberley properties for bovine Johnes disease (BJD).
Six stations in the Kimberley have had bulls traced to the Queensland stud which tested positive to the disease last year.
