Ukrainian farmers worried about port access

A former Victorian farmer, who manages a property in Ukraine, says grain growers in the country are worried about access to ports as conflict with Russia continues.

With the grain harvest close to starting in Ukraine, the country's yields are tipped to be lower this year.

Former central Victorian farmer Lawrence Richmond, from Ballarat, manages a 7000 hectare property near the Black Sea in southern Ukraine and says it's critical ongoing tension with Russia doesn't lead to the closure of ports.
