We can transform Africa's agriculture, says Kikwete

President Jakaya Kikwete has pointed to the right policy mix, reliable financial mechanisms, participation of private sector both local and foreign as the appropriate interventions that African governments could undertake to transform agriculture in the continent.

Kikwete said that transformation of agriculture in Africa is an achievable undertaking and that any meaningful intervention to eradicate poverty and ensure food security in Africa must address and resolve the issue of low productivity.
