Why farmers are turning to festivals

We’ve got 15,000 people coming for the weekend in August. Getting that organised has kept me pretty busy for the past couple of months, but it’s actually not much different from organising any party at home – or a wedding.

I’ve been sorting out the food, organising the music, making arrangements for those that want to stay over and making sure there’s plenty of stuff for the kids to do – that’s actually the most fun. Parking is a bit of a headache – but on the whole I’ve been enjoying the preparations.
