Wisbech poultry factory could cut 300 jobs
News that up to 300 jobs may be axed at a Cambridgeshire poultry products factory came as an "enormous shock" to staff, says the Unite union.
Unite officer Mark Plumb said the 350 staff at Moy Park Ltd, Wisbech "had no indication" their jobs were at risk.
The firm said it had begun a consultation to move jobs to its Lincolnshire site "to make the business more competitive".
