Zuma urges women to take up agriculture

South African President Jacob Zuma says women should be involved in mainstream agricultural activities so that they can make a more meaningful contribution towards economic growth. According to a statement realised by his office on Friday, Zuma told the 23rd Ordinary Session of the African Union in Equatorial Guinea that women should take leading roles in agriculture because it has great potential to enable sustainable development, food security and job creation in Africa.
