I’m keeping my fingers crossed for blue skies and sunshine on the day, but I know that the show will be well supported whatever the weather throws at us, as it always has been. It’s always good to see two or three generations of the same family coming to the show, continuing a tradition which will see the show prosper for many years to come.

There will be the usual mix of livestock, entertainment, retail therapy, and refreshment. Light Horse classes will be under way at 9.30, with livestock in the main ring from 10.00, interspersed with entertainment, so check the Programme of Events page, and look out for the perennial favourites, the Clydesdales.
