Conwy in northern Wales is a truly gorgeous market town, with stunning surrounding countryside and some pretty impressive architecture – it’s also home to a number of busy beekeepers.

We all know how important bees are to our eco-system, and beekeeping has been recognised throughout history.

Thoreau famously stated that, ‘the keeping of bees is like the direction of sunbeams’.

In fact, the Conwy Honey Fair is truly one of the oldest fairs in the UK, which is quite a feat when you consider how many go on across the country.
