Advice for farmers from CLA and Fisher German at Ploughing Match
The CLA and Fisher German will have a wealth of professional advice available on their stand no E6 at the Cheshire Ploughing Match on 24 September.
As well as planning and land management, equine and property advisers, the CLA"e;s Head of Environment Derek Holliday will be making the trip from the CLA"e;s London HQ to advise members on environmental concerns.
Mr Holliday is the CLA"e;s lead adviser on European and national environmental issues including water quality, (Water Framework Directive, Catchment Sensitive Farming, Nitrates Directive), water resources, fluvial and coastal defence, soil resource, climate change and fisheries.
He is expected to be particularly busy explaining the implications of Nitrate Vulnerable Zones to Cheshire Farmers.
The Cheshire Ploughing Match takes place on Wednesday 24 September at New Farm, Cann Lane, Arley
