Agriculture has vital role in MP growth



Indore, Oct 24: What is the main reason of progress in Madhya Pradesh? Concern for agriculture and industries associated with it! There are two good indications in between these question and answer. Compared to other states, suicide by farmers in Madhya Pradesh did not raise that amount of hue and cry. Going by the surveys of 1991-2003 and 2003-06, agriculture development in the state has improved.
But then what role agro sector can play in our all-round development? This can be gauzed from some interesting facts. Seventy two per cent of rural population in our state depends of agriculture
