Two Indonesian fishing vessels were seized in Australian waters on Xmas eve, with large catches of fish they had trapped in Australian territorial water..

The vessels were impounded and towed into Darwin harbor. Australian Customs officers said the vessels were seized about 180 miles north west of Darwin.

The 11 crew members were taken into custody and the vessels impounded while authorities investigate further
