AUSTRALIA-LIVESTOCK VESSEL GOES AGROUND LOADED WITH CATTLE.

A transport ship that beached on King Island early on Tuesday morning has been refloated.

The Matthew Flinders was carrying more than 280 head of cattle when it lost a propeller and beached near Grassy Harbour.

The cattle were taken off the ship later that day and moved to the harbour’s stockyards.
