Broadwood at LAMMA 2014

Hustler CH-2000 FC ADJUST

Broadwood will display a selection of models from their Wessex, Hustler, SweepEx and SnowEx ranges. The Hustler range of bale feeders offer simple, reliable machines and the SL models provide an economical option for farmers who primarily feed out round bales.

Built in New Zealand to a very high standard, Hustler bale feeders include innovative design features and patents which have gained them a 56% market share in New Zealand. These machines have fast gained popularity in the UK thanks to their effectiveness at feeding round or square, silage, straw, hay or haylage bales, with the associated money saving capabilities.

Models include the Hustler SL-350 bale feeder, a 3 point linkage mounted single balefeeder suitable for all types of round bales, even up to 1.5m / 5' long. The SL-450X is based on the popular SL-350, but has the added advantage of the extension chute which allows delivery of the fodder into a high level trough or manger. The Hustler CH-2000 is a unique chainless bale feeder, which will handle round or square bales efficiently. As with the chained versions, the bale is spiked and lifted onto the platform with the heavy duty tines and the bale is ready for feeding.

At 2.44m / 96" wide the range-topping SweepEx MegaMax-960 'Push broom with a twist' is huge-and it has a sweeping performance to match its size. Combining all the well-known features of the standard SweepEx brushes, the MegaMax will hold bulk volume material and sweep close to a wall or curb without causing damage. At 1.83m / 72" wide the SweepEx MegaMax-720 is one of the most popular brooms. Combining all the well-known features of the standard SweepEx brushes, the MegaMax will hold bulk volume material and sweep close to a wall or curb without causing damage. Also on shoe, the HDM-072 is a 1.83m/72" heavy duty magnet that fits on the front of a SweepEx Pro, Mega or MegaMax push broom.

Ideal for controlling areas of dense vegetation or heavy scrubland, the Wessex Scrubmaster with blade cutters has an enviable reputation for serious scrub-clearing ability. At work in woodlands and areas of forest across the UK and Europe, the Scrubmaster will power its way unstoppably through dense brush and scrub.

The Wessex BF-180 bedder feeder has been designed so that one machine can do both spreading and bedding efficiently and effectively. With a 180 degree rotating bed, hydraulic feed controller and sequential feeding the Wessex BF-180 is the perfect machine to reduce capital outlay that would have been spent on two machines.

The Wessex Country LS-100 logsplitter is one of the company’s most popular products. Strong, simple, and a quick, easy fit to any tractor with a category 1 three-point linkage, the LS-100 powers through logs effortlessly, with up to 10 ton of hydraulic splitting force (depending on tractor hydraulics). Several SnowEx salt and grit spreaders will also be on show, stand no. B94.
