LITTLE GIRL GOES DOWN WITH BIRD FLU.

A two year old girl who is in hospital is in a critical condition in northern China it was confirmed on Sunday, as a result of being affected with H5N1 bird flu virus.

The little girl named Peng, was hospitalized on January 7 in Central Hunam province, and appears to be the only person at this stage with the virus.

China has the worlds largest poultry population, as well as the largest human population and the government have gone into overdrive, with health and safety measures.

Nepal is also reporting its first ever case of bird flu, it was announced on Saturday.

Laboratory tests have confirmed to virus close to the Indian border, it has been stated by government officials in Katmandu.

This is the first time the H5N1 strain, has been reported in the country.
