Colombia-Burger King expands.
COLOMBIA.
Burger king.
There are 20 new Burger King fast food outlets planned to be opened in Colombia,that began opening in Bogota on 13 November 2008.
The new restaurants are franchise to Mexican operators, Alsea SAB, who have plans to open a total of 20 restaurants over a five year period.
Alsea have also acquired 75% of the Domino Pizza franchise in Colombia, which compliments their operations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico, where the company operates over 1,100 restaurants.
The Alsea company, is listed on the stock exchange in Mexico, however the shares have been taking quite a knock in recent weeks.
