Marlow-based Ozone-Direct.com has joined forces with ONNIC International to offer a simple and inexpensive laboratory system to reduce time and cost implications for initial tests using Ozone.
The new ST-01 Kit allows the controlled production of small quantities of ozone gas which can be safely applied to product and
material samples for testing purposes, with ozone in gaseous form or dissolved in water,

using the reactor test vessel supplied with the kit.
Peter Aldiss of Ozone-Direct.com says:
“The food and beverage industry in particular are very excited about the potential for using Ozone in many processes where chemicals and heat are often the incumbent technologies and where Ozone offers cold, chemical-free processes for disinfection, rinsing, odour reduction and decontamination, leaving minimal environmentally persistent by-products, residues or discharges.”
The cost, time and knowledge required to asses the suitability of Ozone has, in the past
prevented many companies from considering using Ozone in their processes. The ST-01 Kit is
simple to set up and operate and lends itself to a full range of basic experiments, leading to a
quick decision about the suitability of using Ozone.
The ST-01 is an entry-level system for the safe generation and application of small quantities of Ozone gas for basic assessments.
So what does Ozone do to your cabbages, meat, fish, herbs, root vegetables, ingredients etc?
The answer is, every application, operation or process is subtly different and often basic trials
are required. But who wants to spend thousands just to discover they asked the wrong question or tested at the wrong concentration or temperature? The ST-01 Kit allows customers to make their own basic assessments before deciding to invest in Ozone systems.
The ST-01 Kit is available for sale or rent from info@ozone-direct.com and sales@onnic.net
