Ambassador to London suggests sharing Falklands resources.
The Argentine Ambassador to London Federico Mirre, has suggested to the British government a plan, whereby the two countries can share the resources of the Falkland Islands.
The plan relates to the fishing grounds in the region and future exploration for oil and mineral resources.
The Islands have been in dispute for the last 150 years and caused the nations to go to war in 1982.
The Islands have developed their own export lamb industry, in a new purpose built meat plant erected by the Falkland Island Development Corporation in 2002.
Falkland Isles meat can now be purchased in the United Kingdom.
