GERMANY.
EUROPES LEADING PORK PROCESSOR.
For the last 50 years, Denmark have been the leading pork and bacon producers in Europe, and the quality of the plants would be the best in the world.

There have been concerns recently about the 120,000 pigs each week that travel to Germany for slaughter and processing, which has caused the closure of plants and the loss of jobs in Denmark.
Figures released in recent days from German state secretary, Gerd Mueller, clearly show that since 2008, Germany is the leading exporter and processor in Europe.
Germany exported 300,000 tons of pork to non EU countries in 2008, an increase of 74% on the same period in 2007.
The Danish meat processors as long ago as 1975 were fully computerized, the first country to pave the way to today’s technology. This pigs were given a tattoo with magnetic ink, then processed the pig was identified by the ink at the scale, the weight went to the computer in the office, which worked out the price and issued the cheque.
At the time the big five main banks in England, had not started to use computerized cheques or computerized identity numbers on cheques.
