Grainvest project by PAVA facilitates local gas supplies
PAVA’s recent strategic move to launch production of high value-added wheat ingredients in Rebrikha district will bring additional advantages for the rural community, the company said. Apart from promoting innovative technologies and increase of employment, construction of the new plant will lead to improvement of local infrastructure and initiate gas supplies. The project scope involves renovating the existing space on PAVA milling facility, and installation of new, technologically advanced plants for the output of VWG, syrups, starches and other products. The cogeneration plant supporting the capacity increase will run on natural gas which means that the nearby residential area can get access to a new system of power and heating.
Laying a gas pipeline in Rebrikha is part of the agreement on social and economic partnership between PAVA and the local authorities. Grainvest also receives comprehensive support on the federal level, effected through tax incentives and subsidizing interest rates on investment credits. In 2009 it was approved for budget allocations from the State Investment Fund as a priority project, corresponding to the national goals of sustainable rural development.
"Grainvest is poised to enhance profitability levels and raise the local standard of living. We undertake to create all-round benefits, and we are pleased with what has been achieved so far", says Andrey Igoshin, PAVA President.
