weekend (9th – 12th September) Rowallan Activity Centre, Fenwick, Ayrshire, will play host to one of the qualifying competitions that gives British riders the opportunity to compete in the International classes at the forthcoming Horse of the Year Show (HOYS), which will be staged at Birmingham’s NEC from 6th – 10th October 2010.
As well as ten of the British leading riders1 who are automatically eligible to compete at the world’s most famous horse show, two additional places are selected from qualifiers held at both Rowallan and at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincolnshire (21st – 26th September).

Horse of the Year Show’s International classes commence on Thursday 7th October and finish with the prestigious HOYS Leading Show Jumper of the Year Grand Prix, which takes place during Sunday’s Gala Night performance. With some of the world’s best riders making up the rest of the field and a prize fund in excess of £100,000, these heavily contested wildcard places are highly sought after.
Horse of the Year Show takes place at the NEC, Birmingham from Wednesday 6th – Sunday 10th October 2010.
