Italian project furthers central farming project
Italy will continue funding a farming and irrigation rehabilitation project to aid 1,300 poor households in Thua Thien-Hue Province's Phu Vang District.
The €2.6-million (US$4-million) project received €1.5 million ($2.3 million) from the Italian Foreign Ministry and €414,600 ($640,000) from the Italian agency GVC.
The Vietnamese government supplied the remainder.
