Case IH is pleased to announce the launch of the new Maxxum and Maxxum X-Line series. These new models replace the highly successful MAXXUM MXU Pro Multicontroller and the MAXXUM MXU X-Line series.
With a fantastic power-to-weight ratio and a maximum boosted power of 178hp from the Maxxum 140, this new Maxxum will pack a substantial punch. This combined with the legendary St Valentin reputation for high quality, innovative products with unrivalled residual value will mean that Maxxum Multicontroller and X Line tractors will exceed the needs of arable, mixed and livestock farmers.
MAXXUM MULTICONTROLLER
Wider offering, new engines and modern features
The new 2007 MAXXUM is the replacement of the MAXXUM MXU Pro Multicontroller and boasts many new and upgraded features including Stage 3A high pressure common rail, electronic fuel injection, four valves per cylinder wastegate, turbocharged air-to-air intercooled engines, which have been optimised for low fuel consumption and Stage 3A emissions compliance.
New all-rounders
The MAXXUM series now comprises six models, each with an increase in engine power, topped by the MAXXUM 140, which now has a rated engine power of 142hp (104 kW) and a maximum output with Power Boost of 178hp (131 kW).
The range has also been expanded to include the all-new MAXXUM 130. This tractor is equipped with a new, four-cylinder engine with a rated power of 132hp (97 kW), offering excellent power-to-weight ratio and very low fuel consumption.
Both Maxxum Multicontroller and X Line models can come from the factory loader ready, whilst the Multicontroller model provides customers with the benefits of electronic proportional control designed to meet the needs of the more demanding loader operator with its ergonomically designed joystick.
More comfort and choice
The cab equipment and control operation in the MAXXUM models have been upgraded. Improvements include Multicontroller™ lV. A heated electrically-adjustable exterior mirrors and an automatic air-conditioning system can now be specified.

MAXXUM X-Line
The new 2007 MAXXUM X Line tractors also feature many innovations, and are powered by Stage 3A mechanical fuel injection wastegate turbocharged air-to-air intercooled engines, which have been optimised for low fuel consumption and Stage 3A emissions compliance.
In the X Line range, the MAXXUM X Line 140 with 141hp (104 kW) - heads the offering of five models with outputs ranging from 101hp to 141hp (74 kW to 104 kW). The previous largest X-Line model was the 130 at 131hp (96 kW)
X Line upgraded
Standard equipment and, above all, the range of optional extras have been significantly upgraded in the MAXXUM X Line series. Cab suspension is now available.
Improvements to the hydraulics system include the 80 l/min hydraulic pump making the total vehicle flow of the X-Line range a massive 120l/min.

The MAXXUM range is targeted at the professionals within the farming and contracting businesses.
The MAXXUM Multicontroller ideally fits the requirements in the arable, root crop and vegetable growers within the farming business and contractors with mixed applications of field and of road transport. The MAXXUM X-Line range meets the requirements of the mixed and livestock farmer and a contractor requiring less sophistication.
The new Maxxum, as with all Case IH products, comes with all of the support that a professional farmer requires for today's demanding business environment. All products are available with SAFEGARD, which is an extendable cover to give the owner piece of mind and a fixed cost of ownership. All products are fully supported with a retail finance scheme, which once again is extremely flexible to match needs.
