Meeting EBLEX at the pub

AN invitation to get down to business at the George and Dragon has been issued to food professionals by the English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX).

At this year's International Food and Drink Event (IFE) at London's ExCel from March 18 to 21, the EBLEX stand will be disguised as the George and Dragon pub where professionals from the catering, retail and wholesale trades are being invited to drop in and talk business.

On hand will be experts able to speak to visitors about forthcoming promotions and a swathe of ideas designed to help the professionals improve their businesses through the use of Quality Standard beef and lamb.

Head of marketing at EBLEX, Andrew Garvey, said: "We are inviting visitors to the show to drop in at the George and Dragon to hold their own meetings and to talk to our experts about our products.

"IFE is an important showcase for us and one where our own gastro pub is bound to draw a great of attention and help us promote greater use of home produced beef and lamb."
