Milk Links Channel Island producers set gold standard for new breakfast milk
Milk Link's Jersey and Guernsey milk producers are to supply the milk being used in the 'Breakfast Milk' brand being re-launched by Highgrove Food Distribution. The brand will benefit from a dramatic new pack design, which highlights the delicious taste and creaminess of Milk Link Members' premium Jersey and Guernsey milk.
The re-launched brand has moved out of plastic containers into new 750 ml cardboard cartons, which incorporate extended shelf technology to retain the milk's fresh creamy taste for longer. The new cartons feature an appealing, doe-eyed Jersey cow on pack to increase consumer awareness of the brand's origins and premium positioning and also feature the Milk Link logo to support the milk's provenance and quality. The pack also incorporates a transparent 'measure strip', which allows customers see how much remains and for measuring it out quickly and easily for recipes.
John Taylerson, Marketing Director of Milk Link Ingredient Services, commented: "We are delighted that our Members' Jersey and Guernsey milk is being used for the re-launched 'Breakfast Milk'. This reflects our determination to increase demand for and utilization of Channel Island milk and we look forward to working in partnership with Highgrove on this exciting initiative."
Highgrove Food Distribution Managing Director, Keith Collins commented, "The Jersey and Guernsey milk used in our new 'Breakfast Milk' represents the gold standard in terms of taste and quality.
