Leading national property consultancy Carter Jonas is pleased to announce the sale of the Millington Grange Estate, on behalf of John Weatherill.
Purchased by the Ashcourt Group, which will maintain the pedigree Limousin herd established by John Weatherill who will continue to work closely with the new owners to achieve further show success, the estate represents a rare opportunity to buy a modern country sporting estate on the Yorkshire Wolds. The estate comprises a large principal house, two further farmsteads and agricultural land and woodland extending to approximately 780 acres in total.
Andrew Fallows, partner in Carter Jonas’ rural team in Yorkshire, said: “It’s rare that a property offering such superb sporting value in addition to the mixed farming enterprises becomes available and we are delighted to announce this sale.”
Santander’s Corporate & Commercial Agricultural Team assisted with funding the purchase of the estate.
Phil Hartop, Relationship Director (Agriculture), Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: “We have worked closely with the Ashcourt Group on this deal to complete the transaction on schedule in accordance with their requests and have been impressed with the purchaser’s dedication and ambition.”
