Montgomeryshire YFC benefit from NFU Cymru donation

NFU Cymru Montgomeryshire Vice County Chairman, Jonathan Wilkinson recently presented a cheque to the Montgomeryshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs at the youth movement’s Annual Rally.

The event hosted at Bronymaen, Meifod , saw the annual ’200 NFU Cymru donation presented to the Federation Chairman, Roland Davies.

NFU Cymru Montgomeryshire County Chairman, Edward Chapman said, ’NFU Cymru is proud to offer its support to the young farmers in the county. The YFC movement is vitally important to the future of the agricultural industry and we are delighted to make this contribution, once again, to the Federation which in turn will help their members learn new skills and improve their knowledge of the industry.’

Accepting the cheque, Roland Davies said, ’Once again this year on behalf of our members, I would like to thank NFU Cymru for their generous donation. Like many other county federations we are facing an uncertain future financially and having strong support off NFU Cymru for this event secures the future for our rural events.’
