New members of Potato Council sector board



AHDB has appointed three new members to join the Potato Council sector board; Anthony Carroll of Carroll’s Heritage Potatoes, Alistair Melrose of A J Allan Ltd and Zoe Henderson, a new independent member.

"Both Anthony and Alistair are well known to us and the industry having already served on Potato Council advisory committees," said Allan Stevenson, Chairman of Potato Council. "And Zoe’s wealth of experience in agricultural marketing will help us capitalise on the consumer benefits offered by potatoes."

The on-going rotation will see the three new appointments join ten re-appointed members in representing the needs of the potato sector.
Whilst thanking four departing members for their dedication over the years, Allan concluded: "I’m delighted Anthony, Alistair and Zoe have joined the Board and I look forward to working closely with them to assist the potato sector in maximising its potential."
