New operations manager appointed by Ellesmere based milking equipment manufacturer
FULLWOOD has announced the appointment of a new operations manager at its production site on Grange Road, Ellesmere.
Jason Wittenbrink joined Fullwood Limited, which designs and manufactures a range of cow, sheep and goat milking systems, at the beginning of September. Since gaining a BEng (Hons) degree in aeronautical engineering, Jason has acquired a wealth of engineering and manufacturing experience. His previous roles include working for companies such as Airbus where he was involved in the production of wings for the A320 series of aircraft, and Convatec in Deeside where he was production manager in charge of the manufacture of medical devices. Jason has also worked for Ifor Williams Trailers and Morgan Electro Ceramics.
In his role as operations manager for Fullwood, Jason will be responsible for the production of a wide variety of products that includes Merlin, Fullwood’s fully automated robot that can milk cows without any human input.
"This is a very exciting time to be coming into the dairy industry," states Mr Wittenbrink. "Fullwood is world renowned for its range of milking parlours and dairy equipment and I am excited about getting involved with the traditional and new technologies that the company is currently developing.
"My main priority is to improve production efficiency and to drive down manufacturing costs for the benefit of our customers whilst adhering to Fullwood’s commitment to quality. The production staff at Grange Road are extremely skilled and dedicated and I am looking forward to working closely with them," he adds.
Jason, who is originally from Farndon in Cheshire, lives in Marchwiel near Wrexham with his partner, Simone, and their two year old son, Callum.
