RECORD GRAIN HARVEST.

Russia’s grain harvest this year, is forecast at 102 million tons, well above earlier forecasts.

There will be 27 million tons of sugar beet, 6.5 million tons of sunflower seed, 700,000 tons of rape seed and 5.5 million tons of corn.

The soy harvest should be around 700.000 tons, wheat is the main grain harvested in Russia and the Ukraine.

The figures were released by the Agricultural Ministry.
