Slurry solutions at Stoneleigh



Milbury Systems, an Eleco plc company, will be demonstrating its slurry storage solutions on Stand 117 at the Stoneleigh Dairy Event, including above and below ground concrete stores and circular steel slurry tanks which can be manufactured with an option for future extension.



Principal product on display will be Milbury’s Aeromixer slurry conditioner which significantly reduces hydrogen sulphide emissions in cattle buildings, during mixing and pumping slurry of out the store. A low rate aeration system, the Aeromixer bubbles air through slurry, keeping it fluid so that it can be moved without expensive or time consuming mechanical mixing.

The Aeromixer can be installed into both new and existing concrete and steel stores to provide total slurry conditioning. It can be sited under Milbury’s slatted dairy unit which features reinforced high strength concrete slats designed to ease the follow of slurry. Combined with the Aeromixer the unit provides greater efficiency with low maintenance and running costs

Milbury pioneered the use of precast concrete panels for all types of farm storage and walling, including livestock housing, silage clamps and grain stores. Milbury will be promoting its entire prestressed and precast product range at the Dairy Event.
