Sustainable Energy Training Modules help businesses meet 2020 Climate Change Targets
The agreement last week by EU members to cut carbon emissions by 20% across Europe through the improved use of energy efficiency and renewable energy and the forthcoming introduction of the Carbon Reduction Commitment has increased the pressure on businesses, already facing a tough economic climate, to reduce carbon emissions. The good news is that with careful planning reducing carbon emissions can reduce energy costs, a challenge that the National Energy Foundation (NEF) have responded to with the launch of its Sustainable Energy Training Modules.
Designed to offer a unique service, the NEF are offering a total of 22 modules under the categories of: Carbon Reduction, Energy Awareness, Energy Management & Monitoring, Energy Policy, Energy Saving, Funding and Renewable Energy.
The new modules give businesses the flexibility of choosing from, or combining, a number of different modules together to create training which covers exactly what they need to know, during anything from a lunchtime seminar to a whole days worth of training.
The simple and clear pricing structure of the modules gives value for money, with the option of training up to 15 staff at no additional cost, which is far cheaper than sending this many away on a standard training course.
Sandra Hayes who heads up the Training Dept says " we are hoping that the launch of these training modules will guide businesses towards meeting important carbon reduction targets, in the most efficient and economical way "
