Tanzania-Cattle herd improvement.

TANZANIA.

TANZANIA TO IMPROVE BEEF BRREDS.

The very lush fertile country of Tanzania in East Africa, has 18.8 million cattle which are mainly local breeds.

The Zeban and Boran cattle, are very small and not good beef producers.

The government of Tanzania, are going to introduce Braham and Santa bulls into the country, to improve the herd and try to develop a beef export industry.

Tanzania has the third largest cattle herd in the whole of Africa, with potential for a big export market with the right cattle being produced.
