Teen remains in hospital after farm accident
Kaleb Parsch, 15, of Goodland Township, remains hospitalized at the University of Michigan following a Monday evening farming accident at his Kohler Road home.
Following an outpouring of phone calls from the concerned community, Kaleb's parents, Louie and Sandy, established a Web site and will update his condition.
The accident occurred as the Imlay City High School freshman used a rotating post hole digging auger on the 40-acre Kohler Road family farm in Imlay Township. The teen's clothing became caught in the power take-off — the rotating unit that powers tractor attachments.
