MAJOR BANKERS TO SPONSOR BEEF EXPO 2009.

Lloyds TSB Agriculture, confirmed on Friday by way of a press release, that they are going to sponsor the Beef Expo 2009, that will be held in Malvern Worcestershire in May of 2009.

The event is held at a different venue each year, and attracts thousands of people from the beef and farming sectors. This is the second year running that the major English bankers have sponsored the event.

Clive Roads, a local auctioneer and chairman of the organizing committee, said "We are delighted to have such a prestigious major sponsor, for the event which is now well established as a premier event for the beef industry in the UK".

Paul Spencer, Agricultural Director for Lloyds TSB, said "Being in the heart of farming is more than just a phase for us, it means supporting individual farmers through good times and bad and supporting the core events that are of real benefit to farmers. Beef Expo has quickly established itself within the beef industry and we are delighted to be a major sponsor again for the 2009 event".

Roads went on to say that, "It has never been more important for beef producers to be fully up to speed with the latest information and trends covering technical innovation, genetics, nutrition, economics, machinery, market opportunities economics and everything else, which goes into running a successful, profitable and sustainable beef enterprise".
