UNITED KINGDOM.

SEVEN MILLION POUDS IN PAYOUTS.

The Ministry of Defense in the United Kingdom, have paid out over seven million pounds in claims to farmers and others, for claims against low flying aircraft.

The claims that are spread throughout England, Ireland and Scotland range from hens not laying, to people being thrown from a frightened horse, or cattle and sheep stampeding and injuring themselves.

While the majority of the claims do in fact relate to the loss of livestock, there have been over 400 successful claims in the last three years.

The claims are related to low flying aircraft on maneuvers and helicopters on operations
