CARGILL TO REMAIN IN FAMILY.

Despite record profits of over US$2.6 billion for the first 2 quarters of the current fiscal year, Cargill said, that there are no plans to change its family controlled ownership.

The privately owned company, is controlled by descendants of the founding Cargill and McMillan families, the company made US$3 billion last year.

David Maclennan, the companies Chief Financial Officer, said there were no plans to change the ownership and the organization enjoys being privately owned.

Cargill are very important players, in the Argentine rural sector, both in the beef and grain sides of farming and meat plant involvement.
