Use Badger Fencing To Help Tackle TB



At their recent open day Harper Adams University College demonstrated their new bio secure area which they have constructed using McVeigh Parker Predator XFENCE and welded mesh. Scott Kirby the farm manager there gave the following comment on TB prevention. ’Disease outbreak and in particular TB represent one of the greatest risks on many farms. While many factors are out of our control, we can reduce risk on farms with effective bio security measures, one of the most effective ways to achieve this is the use of a bio secure perimeter fence around our most vulnerable areas’.
