Vicon to get silver medal award at the Royal Highland Show

The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) has awarded the Vicon iXclean Pro sprayer cleaning system a silver medal in its 2014 Technical Innovation Award scheme.
Ensuring that crop sprayers are thoroughly rinsed when changing chemicals is a critically important job. Consequently it can be time consuming and relies on the operator to ensure that all parts of the system are effectively cleaned.
iXclean Pro takes sprayer cleaning to a new level. This innovative rinsing system is available on all Vicon front tanks, mounted and trailed sprayers with Isobus control, and washes the sprayer using an automatic program to ensure that nothing is missed.
Cleverly, the system draws the minimum amount of clean water to ensure all aspects of the sprayer – from pump to lines – are comprehensively cleaned.
Simply push a button to start, after which progress is shown on the in-cab display. iXclean Pro takes around eight to 10 minutes, leaving minimal residual liquid in the sprayer with a chemical content of less than one per cent when the rinsing cycle is complete.
The RHASS silver medal will be presented at the Royal Highland Show on Saturday 21st June.
