Canal Farm Cottages

Accommodation Details

Canal Farm self-catering holiday cottages offer a peaceful haven for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The cottages have a view of open countryside to the Lincolnshire Wolds and the majestic spire of St James Church in Louth, just a few miles away. Louth is a beautiful unspoilt Georgian town with a bustling market. Louth still has many small traditional food shops selling local Lincolnshire produce, including cheeses, breads, pork and fish from Grimsby in North Lincolnshire – this makes Louth a very special and unique town.

The charming self-catering cottages have been created through the sympathetic conversion of traditional Lincolnshire red bricked and pantiled farm buildings and have retained their agricultural heritage. They are well equipped and comfortable, with all that selfcatering holiday makers will need, each has its own its own courtyard and parking area. The local facilities are excellent, with 2 pubs, the Millhouse Restaurant, farm shops and a village store all within 3 miles of Canal Farm in lovely rural Lincolnshire villages.

The Fishing LakeCanal Farm has it’s very own fishing lake, stocked with a variety of coarse fish and within walking distance of the cottages. This facility is available free to our paying guests. The lake is situated in a landscaped area of the farm with many young trees and wild flowers having been planted to attract wildlife.

There is an onsite visitors centre with laundry facilities, books, videos, games and an extra toilet. Also information on tourism attractions in Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, East midlands and Yorkshire. Children are very welcome at Canal Farm - cot and highchair are available on request.

Children can play safely on the grassy play area, and garden games are provided in the utility room.
