Accommodation Details

Welcome to Fornside, our family farm in the Lake District. We have four quality cottages converted from stone barns, equipped, furnished and maintained to a high standard.

Our farm consists of 54 acres of beautiful countryside with spectacular views and is mainly farmed with sheep. We also have free range ducks and hens and plans for other animals soon. Visitors are welcome to interact with our animals and explore the farm.

The cottages are peacefully located and yet we are within easy reach of Keswick, Grasmere, Ambleside and all the other attractions of the Lake District National Park.

We are on hand to offer advice on activities and places to eat, but are just as happy to leave you to enjoy a relaxing holiday here.
