Grange Farm Cottages

Enjoy England Self Catering 3 Stars

Accommodation Details

Welcome to the Grange Farm website, we hope you enjoy your e-visit and will choose to come and visit us in person.

We would like to show you our holiday cottages, campsite and fishing lakes, which are set in the Lincolnshire Wolds - designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We moved here in 1999 and fell in love with this part of Lincolnshire. We think you will too.

Grange Farm is surrounded by beautiful countryside: woods, valleys, streams and rivers, with dry valleys cut out by the glacial melt waters which formed the landscapes we see today. Over the ridge and the Bluestone Heath Road are rolling acres of arable land producing much of our country's cereals and fresh produce.

The Poet Laureate Alfred Tennyson was born at Somersby just 2 miles away and the little stream at the bottom of our fields is the same babbling brook mentioned in his work.

Before we came here, we thought Lincolnshire was all flat fenland! It seems that the Wolds are a well kept secret.

Grange Farm's location really is ideal to reach the wide variety of attractions that Lincolnshire has to offer.

In the early 1990s the three holiday cottages were sympathetically converted from a former barn, and are brick built with exposed beams and brickwork, and the old original upper floor supports are still in place resting on the stone padstones The holiday cottages are graded by the English Tourist Board as three star self catering.
