Renovated farmhouse offers cosy and comfortable accommodation for both couples and families with older children. Complete with an Aga-style range in the kitchen/diner and an open fire to snuggle up to in the lounge after a hard day's walking.

Outside the property has a generous grassed area, together with a spacious glazed garden house equipped with table and chairs. Secure adequate parking. Storage area for boots, wet clothing, bikes etc.

There are many excellent walks in the vicinity of New Close Farm Cottage, with the Pennine Way long distance footpath not far away, and the Three Peaks of Penyghent, Ingleborough and Whernside being realistically conquerable on foot from this location. Those interested in more gentle walking may enjoy strolling to Malham Cove or Gordale Scar, just a stones throw away.

The cottage is ideally situated for days out in the Yorkshire Dales by car with attractions like the pretty villages of Bolton Abbey and Grassington only half an hour away. Herriott country at Thirsk and Bronte country at Haworth. The market town of Settle is just a 10 minute drive away and rail enthusiasts will undoubtedly enjoy a trip on the famous Settle Carlisle railway, with its breathtaking scenery. An hour's drive will take you to the Lake District with its unique scenery, or in another direction to the historic city of York with its wealth of tourist attractions.
