Renowned for our quality home-grown and local produce. Our business was started by Allen G Meale in 1934 with just a single acre of land to grow, produce and keep chickens and pigs. We are now a thriving business with 260acres of crops including potatoes, spring barley, wheat, sugar beet, asparagus, tomatoes, vegetable, pumpkins, Christmas trees, PYO plums, strawberries, raspberries, soft fruits, runner beans; a farm shop and nurseries.
We offer a great variety of plants from our own autumnal and summer bedding plants, an array of roses, geraniums, and fuchsias to eye-catching hanging baskets, ornamental trees, fruit trees, conifers and shrubs.
As well as our fabulous range of fresh produce, Pick Your Own; garden tools and plants; coal; logs and gas; we now offer over 150 different garden buildings from a simple shed or play house to carports, garages, summerhouses, log cabins or a weekend house.
11 Members of the Meale family along with 14 members of staff work together to provide top quality, local produce. We also supply to local businesses; restaurants, shops and care homes. We are on a large site with plenty of parking and easy loading for your convenience, we pride ourselves on our customer service and look forward to seeing you soon.
