Muiravonside Country Park

Muiravonside is Falkirk's only Country Park, providing 170 acres of stunning woodland and parkland, a mini demonstration farm, a sculpture trail, children's play area and a café at the Visitor Hub courtyard.

The park is free to access all year round and offers spectacular scenery accessible through a network of paths, the main routes can be seen on the downloadable map which you might like to print off to help you plan your visit.

The River Avon trail runs through the site, please follow the diversion signs to navigate round the section of route closed due to rock fall. The John Muir way passes close to the site and can be accessed by following the wooden stairs up to the top of the impressive aqueduct. The Sculpture and Poetry trail added to the park in 2016 can be enjoyed by heading through the archway off the main car park and then following the 'art in the park' way markers and map boards.

Newparks Farm is a small demonstration farm located off the main car park. A range of rare breed Scottish livestock, rescued animals and birds are homed here. Please keep your dog on a lead and do not bring food to feed the animals, some of them need a specialist diet to help them stay healthy.
